Jakhoo Temple
Distance: 15 mins
Very famous temple of Lord Hanuman with a legend that says He stopped there to rest while searching for Sanjivni Booti. Jakhu temple is also famous for its Dushehra celebrations and ringing the bell for Good luck in the temple. Close enough to Fairmount with a walking distance, the temple is one great attraction to start your day in Shimla.

The Mall
Distance: 2.9 kms
Most of Shimla’s landmarks are located here. The Mall further joins the Ridge at the ‘Scandal Point’ of Kipling’s Shimla, where a statue of the nationalist leader Lala Lajpat Rai has been erected.This is the main shopping centre of Shimla with restaurants. With Himalayan Wild Life Zoo at the highest point in Shimla, Kufri hosts rare antelopes and birds and the ambiance will amaze you with Mother Nature. Interestingly, Kufri was once a part of Kingdom of Nepal until 1819. If you’re an adventure freak, it’d be a great time for you to hike through to the Mahasu Peak.

Naldhera

Tattapani

Tattapani literally means “Hot Water”. Hot water springs sprout here just on the bank of river Sutlej. The hot water has a high sulphur content along with other rare elements, which are very good for the skin.
